This summer while in Santa Fe NM, Allison had the honor of assisting a workshop at Santa Fe Clay taught by Tim Taunton. The class involved constructing a half figure that was able to hang on the wall. The concept of the pieces was structured around making a piece that described a narrative. Students were able to make two pieces in this intense one week workshop

Allison is finally closing off her college education at the University of South Carolina. As a conclusion of her degree as a studio artist, she is taking part in an exhibition with a group of friends whose work shares similar qualities. Together, their work creates a creative conversation that is sure to present an interesting experience. Allison will have both sculpture and drawing in the exhibition. The show will feature work by Rachel Borgman, Ashley Beredenzen, Sarah Brown, and Frieda Dean. It will take place on the 2nd floor of Granby Mills on Monday, May 7,2012 from 7p.m. to midnight.

Thrusday was the opening of the Gallery V in 5 Points. Gallery V is located on the top floor of Good Soles in 5 Points, Columbia. Allison's work was featured in the exhbition 10 Women In Clay celebrating women's month,. The show had a variety of different ceramics works made by local ceramic artists and students.
